A Tale of Two Cities in World War I: Roubaix, France, and Renaix, Belgium

Posted by peacedalelibrary

Hear Prof. Richard Vangermeersch's own family's story of life on the French-Belgian border during World War I, and how it relates to his work on the Leonard Bacon--Irving Fisher papers at Rhode Island College. Bacon and Fisher (married to sisters in the Peace Dale Hazard family) kept up a lively correspondence about economics in that era.
