RHODY GEM

Rhody Gem: April 2019

Sprout CoWorking

Posted

We are pleased to introduce Rhody Gem, a new monthly column in The Bay Magazine. We’re always being thanked for spotlighting the “hidden gems” of the state, and in our ongoing efforts to leave no stone unturned, we’re putting the call out to our readership! Each month we’ll spotlight a Rhody Gem: a business, artisan, or place suggested to us by our faithful readers.

What it is:

Ever walk along Main Street in Warren, notice a hanging sign that reads Sprout, and wonder, What is this place? It’s not a plant shop or juice bar, but a “coworking” office space available by membership – suited for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and more.

Where to find it:

Sprout is located at 489 Main Street, right across the street from Delekta’s.

What makes it a Rhody Gem?

According to nominator Darby Pontes, a diverse clientele and a modern space within a historic building combine to make spending time at Sprout so worthwhile. “Members and local organizations gather to work, meet, or host events. It makes you feel at home in a welcoming community,” says Darby. “The Art Gallery [at Sprout] reflects the vibrant art and street scene in town.”
