Bumper to Bumper

Who needs to know how to skate when you can zip around the ice in a bumper car instead? The newest spin – literally, you’ll be spinning all over the ice – to downtown’s Alex and Ani City Center is a fleet of brightly colored carts that bring the bumper to bumper action of our Rocky Point memories to the Providence Rink (putting these cars outside is a national first, NBD).

The cars made their first appearance last winter and were an instant social media hit. The fun continued through the summer on the rink’s concrete surface, but once the temperature drops, it will be an icy demolition derby once again. The cars run over half the rink Monday through Friday until 8pm, then take over all the ice Friday and Saturday nights from 10-11pm. If you didn’t get a chance ride last winter, definitely put this on your “must list” this season. Providence
