‘Tis the season for the signature event of the year at the Contemporary Theater Company as they host their 11th Annual 24-Hour Play Festivalon January 9. At the stroke of midnight, six writers receive prompts and suggestions and begin the process of writing and producing six original 15 minute plays, all of which will become part of one larger unified work, performed on stage less than a day later. By 8am, six directors will have cast 24 actors in those plays and the rehearsals get rolling thereafter. With the curtain opening at 8pm, the results are sure to be bold and innovative with certainly no shortage of excitement. 8pm.
