It’s A Shore Bet at Coastal 41º

Latitude and longitude equals coastal attitude in Watch Hill

Posted

There is a sweet new home décor shop down by the bay in beautiful Watch Hill. Coastal 41º, opened in May, is owned and styled by Valerie Williams. No plastic mermaids or rubber lobsters here. Williams strives for a modern and fresh take on beach cottage style. Everything in the store flows together in the soothing sand-tone neutrals and sea tone blues and greens. Kicks of coral and orange serve as the compliments. Stocked with practical, everyday usable items as well as wall décor, art, jewelry and whimsical items for both kids and adults, there is something to please everyone.

Coastal 41º has everything you need for a relaxed atmosphere and casual entertaining. Linen napkins and screen-printed cotton tea towels pair with the natural fabric throw rugs. Driftwood candelabras share the table with colorful serving trays, metallic coral display bowls and oar shaped cutting boards.

For outdoor parties throw down some waterproof rugs, relax on indoor/outdoor pouf hassocks and set the table with decorated paper placemats and fish shaped bottle openers. Make a personalized plastic wine glass for each guest and serve sea salt from hand embroidered cotton bags. Giant swan and flamingo pool floats will get folks in the pool in no time and cotton tunics by Gretchen Scott protect the kids from the sun.

Coastal 41º is fun shopping for your home and yourself. Surround yourself with all the store has to offer and you will never have to leave the shore behind again.
