The shop will also be open longer hours of 10-8 pm starting on Friday, November 24th!

Made In Warren will be launching two promotions on Small Business Saturday. First, we will be starting a raffle to win a gift basket featuring pieces donated by our artists. For every $10 you spend in the store, one ticket is entered into the raffle, as a thank you for supporting MIW! The raffle drawing will be held on the winter solstice, December 21st. Made In Warren will also be offering a Gift Registry or Wish List service for folks who want to make sure someone gets them that awesome piece they've had their eye on!

During the November Featured Artist Reception, refreshments will be served, and artist demos will be given by Anita Trezvant, Ian Buchbinder and Cait Marchetti. Anita Trezvant will be demonstrating felting a holiday gnome from 2-4 pm, Ian Buchbinder will be demonstrating drawing on pottery from 4:30-5:30 pm, and Cait Marchetti will be demonstrating the enameling process, and painting on enamels from 6-7 pm. More about the Featured Artists for November:

Cait Marchetti- Hand-painted Enamel Jewelry and Cards

Cait Marchetti creates enamel jewelry featuring hand-painted designs of flora and fauna. These original illustrations are thoughtfully designed to reflect relationships or convey narratives, usually of growth. For example, an early stage of life, like a seed, is featured on the back side of each, and the fully grown version, like a bloom, on the front side. Each of these heirloom quality enamels have unique differences and are wrapped with a matching Cait Marchetti Jewelry greeting card which makes for a thoughtful and complete gift.

Anita Trezvant- Mixed-Media Textile Art

Anita Trezvant creates original mixed media sculpture, wall hangings, jewelry and figurative sculpture, including art dolls. For twenty years she has been professionally selling and exhibiting in various galleries and art venues. She implements fabric, clay, fibers and beads into her work. Anita finds contentment in her creativity as she speaks through the work and honors her rich heritage.

Donna St Amant- Metal Jewelry

Donna St Amant wishes for people to experience as much joy in the wearing of her pieces as she does while creating them. She gets lost in the forging, forming and fabricating of her work for hours and whole days. Donna derives a sense of accomplishment from working through technical challenges and mastering unfamiliar techniques. She works in classic techniques such as Chasing and Repousse (to achieve textures), Keum Boo (gold foil application) and Granulation (spheres of metal) but moves them in a contemporary direction.

Ian Buchbinder- Illustrated Pottery

Ian Buchbinder is a Rhode Island based potter focused on creating unique functional ceramics that bring a smile to your face. Each piece is thrown on a potter's wheel and painted by hand. In avoiding molds and stencils the designs have room to breathe and evolve over time while staying consistent with the overall aesthetic. Presently, Ian's work depicts scenes of carefree, joyful astronauts drifting through space accompanied by a menagerie of animal companions. His work is food-safe, microwaveable, and dishwasher-safe.

John Vierbickas- Pottery

John Vierbickas is a functional ceramic artist who resides in Warren RI. His first experience with pottery was at CCRI Lincoln in 2010. He makes his work at Mudstone studios, where he has been a member for six years. John’s aesthetic focuses on simple forms and earth tones.
