Tour Lippitt House Museum

Posted by csaunders@preservri.org

Step into Providence’s Golden Age at Lippitt House Museum! A remarkable example of Victorian design and craftsmanship, the museum focuses on the stories of people who lived and worked in the house. Docents use these stories and the objects at Lippitt House to illuminate larger ideas about industry, immigration, design, and civic engagement. Visitors choose between an interactive guided tour or a self-guided tour option. A family guide is available to visitors with children and hands-on objects from the teaching collection are integrated into the tour. Come experience history and make connections to today's world. This engaging experience is one you won't want to miss!
