Winter Produce Is Coming

In South County, our abundance of farms makes it easy to have fresh, local produce – especially at weekly farmers markets during the warm weather months. But just because the season has changed doesn’t mean that you can’t have access to the same locally sourced deliciousness. Farm Fresh RI hosts two indoor farmers markets in the area. In North Kingstown, the Coastal Growers Market in the Lafayette Mill Complex runs 9am-12pm on Saturday mornings. At the Peace Dale Mill Complex, the Saturday market runs 10am-2pm. In addition to produce like winter squash and apples, there are greenhouse-grown veggies, baked goods, meats and seafood, and lots of handmade gifts like soap and body products.
