Women Designers Come Together

Time to empower one another, appreciate art and applaud women with the first annual KnowHER Design Talks, presented by American Institute of Graphic Arts Rhode Island (AIGA). The series, which will run throughout the month of March, showcases strong female figures in the design industry. Each Thursday, a different designer will share her experiences in a discussion.

The series kicks off with Bonnie Siegler, founder of design studio Eight and a Half and founder/producer of the live competition for aspiring designers, Command X. Other women include: graphic designer and creative director at Netflix Naz Arandi, independent designer and art director Leta Sobierajski and Nike Sportswear apparel designer Jennet Liaw. Brooklyn-based artist and designer Kelli Anderson will close the sequence on March 30.
