It’s not too late to find the perfect gifts for those stragglers on your holiday list – festive markets around the state have you covered this weekend! Shop art and curated goods, catch live music by local bands, make a craft, bring the whole family to see cultural performances, dress up as Santa for a special festive gathering, and more!

Find gifts for everyone on your list – and maybe a treat or two for yourself – at the Providence Flea, hosting Holiday Night Markets and regular Sunday Fleas this weekend and next at the Farm Fresh RI Market Hall. Friday, 5:30-9:30pm; Sunday, 11am-3pm; Providence   

The PVD Downcity Holiday Market continues with a wide variety of vendors, along with festive food and entertainment. Don’t miss ice sculpture masterpieces, roaming holiday characters, live music, and more at Grant’s Block Park. Friday-Sunday, Providence

Raise a glass while toting a shopping bag for the Whiskey Wonderland Holiday Bazaar at Sons of Liberty Spirits Co. Field of Artisan vendors set up their wares at the distillery, backdropped by great music and delicious food trucks. Friday-Saturday, South Kingstown 

Fine art pieces ranging from ceramic and glasswork to paintings, prints, and jewelry, all made by local creatives, will be on display at the Jamestown Arts Center’s Holiday Arts Market. Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation. Friday-Saturday, Jamestown

Small Format uplifts queer artists and makers during the Homo for the Holigay’s Holiday Market. Indulge in an eggnog latte or themed cocktail and a snack from the cafe while shopping, and bring your pet for photos with Santa and Sandra Claus! 11am-3:30pm, Providence

Hear stories presented by Rhode Island Black Storytellers, see art at the Rhode Island Latino Arts gallery, and much more at the annual Cultural Extravaganza. The Southside Cultural Center is the setting for a host of performances and family-friendly fun. 12-5pm, Providence 

SUNDAY, December 15

Traveling all the way from the North Pole, the big man in red faces some competition at SANTACON, where all are invited to wear their best Santa finery for games and a costume contest. Stick around for the Westerly Light Parade at 6pm. 2pm, Westerly

No experience is needed to work wool into cute birds for the Felting Birds Workshop at The Collaborative. Fiber artist Hollis Hickerson leads this intro needle felting workshop, with all the materials included. Tickets online, Warren
