Rhody Weekend Must-Do's: February 20-23

The United Theatre screens John Lewis: Good Trouble to commemorate Black History Month. A post-film discussion dives into the Georgia representative’s social activism and legislative action to advocate for change during the Civil Rights movement. Tickets online, Westerly

As part of the Wonders of the Wurlitzer Series, PPAC presents The Randall Ashe Story, celebrating a Rhode Island legend through storytelling and song. The free program highlights his life and the struggles and triumphs of African Americans. 12pm, Providence

Sign up to Learn to Curl at Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink, where instructors are excited to teach newbies about the ins and outs of the unique Olympic sport. Equipment will be provided to learn the basics of the sport and its history. Tickets online, Smithfield
