Rhode Island’s beloved vegan festival is gearing up to wow food lovers and eco-enthusiasts once again! RI VegFest returns February 1-2 to the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, ready to dish out two days of plant-based indulgence and sustainable shopping.

Robin Dionne, a 25-year vegan and passionate advocate for compassionate living, leads the charge for this green celebration. She turned a small idea into a lively event that now attracts locals and out-of-towners alike. “We’re thrilled to host our fifth annual RI VegFest,” Dionne says. “Foodies of all kinds can come eat, shop, and discover Rhode Island staples alongside exciting businesses from across the country.”

This year, over 90 vendors will bring the goods, including local hotspots like PiANTA Vegan Restaurant and Foglia serving up savory delights, while New York’s Little Loaf Bakeshop promises to satisfy sweet cravings.

RI VegFest isn’t just about tasty bites. The festival takes sustainability seriously, teaming up with a local compost processor and World Centric to divert 95 percent of event waste from landfills. “Big events often create mountains of trash, but we’re committed to keeping this one green,” Dionne explains.
