In March of last year, Nicki Ann Tyska set out to create a haven for fashionistas in the heart of downtown Bristol when she purchased her 1,500-square-foot retail space. By May, BEAU BLEU BOUTIQUE & GIFTS was welcoming customers with a keen eye for style, stocking top-quality brands like Tribal, Charlie B, Nic & Zoe, and more. “The carefully curated collection encompasses a range of women’s clothing, stylish shoes, and accessories such as handbags and jewelry,” shares Nicki of her dream store, which she also fills with complementary items like scented candles, cosmetics, and gifts.
“I have always wanted to be a retail buyer and someday own my own boutique,” she says. “I love the job and its many facets, from buying and merchandising to customer service. It’s an outlet for so many things I enjoy.” Tackling each day with enthusiasm – and a palpable excitement to unveil spring and summer styles soon – Nicki made the leap from working as a realtor to the bustling business owner life. “It’s never too late to start a new adventure!”
