After premiering at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, comedians Ray Harrington and Derek Furtado are screening Undependent at the Rhode Island Comedy Connection. Undependent is a two-episode television pilot created by the pair following the success of their documentary Be A Man (Hulu, winner of the LA Comedy Festival) that was shot right here in Rhode Island.
About Undependent:
There’s a thin line between chasing your dreams, and running away from your problems. Ray and Derek are two Independent Filmmakers on a mission to find the next great documentary. With more passion than direction, each new idea will test their friendship and their dreams of being successful filmmakers. And with cameras rolling, every failure is captured by their own crew.
The screening will be followed by a very different kind of Q&A.
