Join Notable Works and find out What the Pawtuxet River Authority is up to and how this organization is working to improve the health of Rhode Island’s largest river and its surrounding watershed. The event will take place at the Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI, on Saturday, October 17th from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, and will feature a presentation by Robert Nero, Chairman of the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council. Guests will also enjoy an introductory display of original poetry and art inspired by the theme “Bridging the Divide and Coming Together for a Common Goal.” This free event will feature readings by six poets from Notable Works’ new book, Voices of the Earth: The Future of Our Planet IV: Marjorie Leary, Karina Lutz, Diane H. Silva Pimentel, JoAnne Preiser, Ira Schaeffer and Fran Webber. The program promises to be engaging, with a focus on the environment, creativity and community.
