With Rhody Readathon 2025 nearing its final days, LitArts RI is calling on the community to help reach its $5,000 fundraising goal before the event concludes with a Grand Finale Celebration on March 29.
Since the start of March, readers across Rhode Island have been turning pages and gathering pledges, transforming their love of books into a fundraising effort. The annual readathon supports literary accessibility, education, and community programming, drawing participation from book lovers of all ages. With only a few weeks left, LitArts RI urges supporters to make final donations to maximize the event’s impact.
Community members can still get involved by pledging funds to a reader or making a direct donation. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps sustain LitArts RI’s mission to foster creativity and ensure literary resources remain accessible to all Rhode Islanders. Participants are encouraged to make a final push in their fundraising efforts as the readathon draws to a close.
To cap off the month-long initiative, LitArts RI will host the Rhody Readathon Grand Finale Celebration on March 29 from 12-2pm at its Providence location. The event will recognize dedicated participants, honor top fundraisers, and bring together members of the local literary community. Attendees can look forward to book discussions, meet-and-greet opportunities with local authors and independent bookstores, and a shared celebration of literature.
