What’s the difference between a full lighting and a partial lighting?
Partial/Basin WaterFire lightings typically encompass only one section of the river, such as the Waterplace Park Basin. Think of a partial lighting as a "mini" WaterFire.
A Full WaterFire lighting includes all (80+) burning braziers throughout the Providence River from Memorial Park to the basin of WaterPlace Park. There are only (8) full lightings throughout the entire boating season, please see that page for dates.
