Downtown Providence is getting a new reason to linger a little longer. Opening this June, Rollers Sports Bar and Grill is stepping into 33 Aborn Street with a vibe that feels less like your standard sports bar and more like the place you end up staying all night.
From Littleneck Hospitality Group, the team behind Pizza Marvin and Club Frills, Rollers is the latest concept from co-owners Robert Andreozzi and Jesse Hedberg. Known for creating spaces that feel equal parts thoughtful and fun, the duo is bringing that same energy to a setting where sports, food, and culture all share the spotlight.
“Rollers is designed to be a place where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re here for the game, the food, or the atmosphere,” says Andreozzi. “We wanted to create something that feels familiar but still brings something new to Providence.”
Set just blocks from the Amica Mutual Pavilion, the location makes it an easy add-on to any downtown plan. Inside, fifteen screens will show everything from local teams to college matchups and women’s sports, creating a lineup that reflects what people actually want to watch.
The menu leans into wood-fired cooking, with Andreozzi focusing on locally sourced ingredients that give classic bar staples a little more intention. Behind the bar, Hedberg brings his signature creativity, building a drink program that feels playful, polished, and anything but predictable. There’s also a strong lineup of non-alcoholic options and thoughtful accommodations for dietary needs.
The name Rollers is rooted in Rhode Island history, inspired by the Providence Steam Roller football team and the Providence Steamrollers basketball team. It’s a nod that keeps things local while the experience itself feels entirely current.
“Providence has such a rich sports history, and we wanted to honor that while creating something that feels current,” says Hedberg. “It’s about bringing people together.” For updates or opening details, visit rollerspvd.com.
