Alchemy House is located inside The Mill on Coventry’s South Main Street, a two-story red brick building with a black awning displaying the address.
Inside Alchemy House, shoppers will discover unique treasures like a handcrafted bag adorned with pearls and seashells, an original painting set in an antique carved frame, or a striking dress. Since its opening in June, artist and owner Maggie Mae has brought a special kind of alchemy to a formerly empty mill space, quickly establishing a reputation as a must-visit retail destination for excellent finds. What started as a passion project centered on restoring and reimagining pre-loved fashion and furniture has morphed into an eclectic shop filled with handpicked items ranging from mid-century furniture and art books to vintage clothing, creating a space that feels like a living, breathing entity where every item enhances the collective aesthetic. “There is a little bit of magic hidden in every corner,” notes Mae, who introduces exclusive new original artwork and one-of-a-kind pieces every month.
