What happens when classic Girl Scout Cookies meet Rhode Island’s top chefs and mixologists? A night of indulgence, creativity, and community impact. On March 6, the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) will host their ninth annual Cookies & Cocktails event, transforming the beloved cookies into gourmet experiences. Held at Farm Fresh RI in Providence, this 21+ fundraiser invites guests to savor inventive sweet and savory creations inspired by the iconic treats.
Emmy-winning anchor Mario Hilario of WJAR will emcee the evening, bringing his signature energy to the celebration. This year’s lineup features renowned local favorites, including Jefferson Speakeasy, Sippin’ Pretty, Allie’s Donuts, The Cocktail Guru, The Coast Guard House, Wright’s Creamery, Apponaug Brewing Company, Boat House, and Waterman Grille – each putting a unique spin on nostalgic flavors.
To kick things off, Ocean State Oyster Co. will kick off the night with freshly shucked oysters during the first hour. Guests can also enjoy a full spread from Easy Entertaining, ensuring a feast of unforgettable bites, all included with admission.
Beyond the culinary delights, the evening features both live and silent auctions, with exclusive items for bid. Every dollar raised supports essential GSSNE programs, from mental health and well-being initiatives to camperships for youth in foster care.
