Taste of Rhode Island Returns with 60+ Food and Drink Vendors

Experience unlimited tastings, live music, and local flavor at this must-attend culinary event in Warwick

Posted

If your summer bucket list includes eating like a local, drinking like a sommelier, and dancing like nobody’s watching, Taste of Rhode Island has you covered. Returning to the Crowne Plaza Pavilion in Warwick on June 11, this beloved annual tasting event offers the ultimate culinary staycation without the need for a road trip.

With more than 60 food and beverage businesses participating from across the Ocean State, the evening provides a rare opportunity to sample signature bites, craft cocktails, and sweet creations from a curated lineup of local favorites and hidden gems.

One ticket grants access to unlimited tastings (yes, you read that right). Guests can graze from table to table, savoring everything from inventive entrées and decadent desserts to thoughtfully paired sips, both spirited and alcohol-free. It’s a choose-your-own-flavor adventure, where no two plates or palates are alike.

Beyond the food, Taste of Rhode Island delivers an immersive experience. Guests can walk the red carpet, snap selfies at stylish photo ops, and enjoy live music by Dr. Slick while soaking in the summer night vibes under the tent. A major highlight of the evening is the Taste of RI Food & Drink Awards, where local celebrities take the stage to celebrate standout chefs, mixologists, and culinary creators who elevate Rhode Island’s food scene.

The event celebrates community as much as cuisine. “This has been a fantastic opportunity for people to discover us and sample what our venue has to offer. It’s all about building connections, attracting new customers, and turning those customers into friends – which is what we’re all about,” said Ryan Nardolillo of Toast n' Tap Restaurant, one of this year’s sponsors along with International Housewares and Diamond Shield Hybrid Cookware.

This year’s event takes on deeper meaning. As part of the evening, Ocean State Charity Events will host a live auction to support the staff of Matunuck Oyster Bar, many of whom were displaced by a recent fire. While guests enjoy the best of Rhode Island’s food scene, they’ll also have the chance to lend real support to a team that’s always served the state with pride. It’s a rare night where indulgence meets impact, and every bid counts.
