At Track 15, there’s always something new at the table, and lately, that means bold flavors paired with a more thoughtful way to gather.
This spring, the downtown Providence food hall introduces two standout additions: the debut of Grumpy Pies, a Roman-style pizza concept, and the arrival of “Tina’s Table,” a custom outdoor picnic table designed to expand accessibility for all guests. Together, they reflect what Track 15 does best: create a space that feels as dynamic and welcoming as the city around it.
On the culinary side, Grumpy Pies brings a fresh perspective to the lineup. Created by Chef Ian Cappelano, the concept centers on “pizza alla pala,” a Roman-style pie known for its crisp texture and shareable format. Guests can order everything from full pies to oversized single slices, with toppings that range from elevated charcuterie combinations to playful options like Carolina BBQ.
“My team and I have been working hard to get to this point, and we are excited to showcase my favorite style of pizza and an evolving menu of brick oven favorites at Track 15,” said Cappelano.
Just outside on the plaza, “Tina’s Table” introduces a different kind of upgrade. Developed in partnership with nonprofit RAMP and designed by CEO Tina Guenette alongside The Steel Yard, the table accommodates up to three wheelchairs and rethinks what inclusive seating can look like.
“I want to make the statement that when we sit down, we’re all the same and we can share our ideas from the same place,” said Guenette. “This table represents everyone.”
For owner Chris Marsella, the addition reflects a vision that’s been part of Track 15 from the beginning. “We have been working alongside Tina since the plans were in their infancy to ensure the space was welcoming for all,” he said.
With seven local food concepts under one roof and an evolving outdoor gathering space, Track 15 continues to grow as a hub for both flavor and community. To explore menus, hours, and upcoming happenings, visit Track 15 online at Track15RI.com
