Fall Flavors and Festivities Roll Into Track 15

A two-day Harvest Fest brings live music, local flavor, and autumn vibes to Union Station’s bustling food hall

Fall is officially on track in downtown Providence. Track 15, the city’s 18,000-square-foot food hall inside the historic Union Station, is kicking off the season with a two-day Harvest Fest packed with food, drinks, and family fun.

The celebration happens Friday, October 17, from 5-10pm, and Saturday, October 18, from 12-10pm, on the plaza outside the food hall. Guests can look forward to a special beer cart pouring seasonal brews, games and activities for all ages, and live music Friday night from 7-9:30pm as part of the Motif Friday Night Concert Series.

Inside, each of Track 15’s seven Rhode Island-based vendors is debuting new dishes that showcase the best of fall. Little Chaska turns up the heat with a Goan Vindaloo simmered in coconut milk and local chiles. There, There layers up a Bacon Royale Burger stacked high with grass-fed beef, North Country Smokehouse bacon, and a jam made from the last of summer’s tomatoes. Dolores serves a Jalisco-inspired Chicken Tinga Burrito, while Mother Pizzeria’s Sass Squash Pie steals hearts with roasted honeynut squash, caramelized onions, and sage.

At Tolia, the featured mezze is Whipped Feta topped with roasted carrot and fennel, and after taste-testing it myself, I can confirm it is not to be missed. Creamy, spiced, and perfectly balanced with warm pita, it is a fall standout. Giusto’s seasonal lineup includes Rigatoni with pork ragu bianco and Gnocchi with kabocha squash and black truffle, while Dune Brothers offers hearty favorites like a customizable Crab Boil and Winter Squash Soup.

At Bar Romolo, fall takes liquid form. Their Frozen Pumpkin Spice Latte, a blend of vanilla vodka, oat milk, and pumpkin pie spice, is pure autumn in a glass. I tried it, and it might just be the drink of the season.

Track 15’s fall menu and Harvest Fest make the perfect excuse to head downtown, grab a cozy cocktail, and celebrate the flavors of the season. For more details, visit track15ri.com.
