FirstWorks is gearing up to celebrate its 20th anniversary in style. On May 2, the Ballroom at The Providence G will come alive with an unforgettable event. Attendees will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow supporters and friends while enjoying thrilling performances, drinks, and small bites in a lively pop-up nightclub atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening will be the mesmerizing dance and music of flamenco legends Soledad Barrio and Noche Flamenca. With two sensational sets, they will transport the audience to a world of passion and rhythm. The celebration will also feature special appearances by Becky Bass, who will captivate the crowd with her steel pan and vocals, and Djembefola Sidy Maiga, joining forces with DJ Brazao for an electrifying performance.
Guests are encouraged to don their finest cocktail attire for the festive night out. Attendees will have the chance to win raffle prizes, and the general admission ticket price directly supports FirstWorks programs in Rhode Island, making this a night of celebration with a purpose.

The organization has played a pivotal role in establishing Providence as the renowned "Creative Capital" through its diverse programming and commitment to inclusivity. Over the course of ten years, FirstWorks has consistently demonstrated artistic excellence and facilitated access to the arts for youth and marginalized communities.
