Ballet RI, in partnership with Rhode Island Commerce, is gearing up to bring the community together with its upcoming event, Art in the Park. This free public event, slated for September 22, offers an afternoon brimming with creativity, dance, and family-friendly fun at Roger Williams Park's Temple to Music.

Kicking off at noon, the celebration begins with an inclusive creative movement class designed to encourage participants to express themselves in a supportive atmosphere. After the class, the Ballet RI dancers will perform for attendees, mesmerizing them with a display of grace and technical precision. The event also features the Aurea Ensemble and an energetic performance by the Rhode Island Kung Fu & Lion Dance Club.

Art in the Park also offers interactive activities, opportunities for attendees to connect with each other, and food from local vendors; pets are welcome, too! “This event reflects our dedication to making the arts accessible to all and highlights the rich culture and creativity that make Rhode Island so unique,” says Kathleen Breen Combes, director of Ballet RI.
